Hello! My name is Carrie and I do Social Media Management for Bankston Counseling Services.
I live in Johnstown with my two children. I have three cats – Miller, Sammie and Boo – and take in foster kittens as needed. My record year of fostering was about 20 of them for one kitten season. (Not at one time – rotating!) It was fun to always have 3-8 week old kittens running around!
I am team “whatever sounds good at the moment” when it comes to drinks. I’ve gotten back on the coffee bandwagon lately, but sometimes I go through tea phases, too. (Bigelow French Vanilla tea with sugar and a splash of milk. So good!)
My favorite self-care activities are to just lay in the sun listening to podcasts or curl up on the couch to watch a documentary. I’ve also started doing monthly massages which have made a huge difference in my pain – I don’t even have to see the chiropractor any more because of it!
My favorite quote is from the Bible: Ephesians 3:17 “I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”
